Before or after the race, visit one of many cafes in the area: Gigi's (Cuban bakery), Brooklyn Bagels, Original Tommy's Burger, and Filipino restaurants - Tribal Cafe, Kapistahan, Nanay Gloria, Bahay Kubo and Salakot.
Stick around for a free film screening of "Little Manila" by Emmy award winner Marrisa Aroy and free sneak preview of "Delano Manongs: Forgotten Heroes of the United Farm Workers" @ 12 noon, SIPA Gateway Community Center, 3200 W. Temple Street, L.A. 90026.
