Description: Runners, walkers, families, pet-owners and animal lovers are all welcome to join the American Veterinary Medical Association as we launch a new 5K Run/Walk event in Atlanta this summer in conjunction with our 147th Annual Convention at the GWCC. AVMA's Convention to Community 5K Walk/Run will engage a portion of the 9000+ convention attendees - veterinarians - students and technicians, and other Animal Health Industry partners - to have some fun while giving back to the local Atlanta community.
